JEE Advanced Result 2021 Date: Rank Card & Toppers List

JEE Advanced result will be released on October 15, 2021. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is the national level entrance examination for admission to IITs and ISMs. JEE Advanced 2021 was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur as a computer-based exam on 3rd October 2021. According to the predetermined schedule, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur will release the JEE Advanced 2021 result on 15 October 2021.

JEE Advanced Result Date:

Candidates will be able to check their result in online mode only through the official website – or According to the information, the answer key of JEE Advanced is released on 10 October 2021. To check their JEE Advanced 2021 result, candidates need to fill in their login credentials like registration number/roll number, date of birth, phone number and email address.

JEE Advanced Result 2021 Qualifying Marks:

JEE Advanced result will be declared in the form of a scorecard. JEE Advanced 2021 result will include the total marks obtained by the candidate, JEE Advanced 2021 – aggregate marks in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. In addition, there will be a Common Rank List (CRL) rank/qualifying status and other basic details.

Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2021 Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for the ranking. IITs also prefer Minimum Qualifying Marks (MQMR) for ranking which is the minimum score in JEE Advanced to be eligible to be included in JEE Advanced Common Rank List.

JEE Advanced Rank List:

The rank list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in JEE Advanced 2021, which is the sum of the marks obtained by a candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEE Advanced 2021 cut-off score is the score obtained by the lowest-ranked candidate that will be accepted by the IITs for admission.

In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in JEE Advanced 2021, the authorities will follow a tie-breaking rule to determine the rank of the candidates. Candidates with higher positive marks will be awarded the higher rank. If the tie still persists, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank. If still not solved, the candidate with more marks in Physics will be given a higher rank. Even after this, if the tie remains, the candidates will be awarded the same rank.

JoSAA JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling Process:

Candidates are advised to take a printout of their JEE Advanced 2021 result and keep it safe till the admission process is over. Because the JEE Advanced Result printout will be an important document in the counselling process. The counselling for JEE Advanced 2021 will start after the declaration of the result.

All activities related to counselling will be managed by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), including the selection of candidates in IITs and other affiliated institutes. The college and branch will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice but as per their AIR. Counselling will be conducted through online mode.

After JEE Advanced 2021 result, eligible candidates can register for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2021 on the official website – Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2021 is scheduled for October 18, 2021. There will be no separate ranking and cut-off in AAT. Category wise seats will be allotted as per All India Rank in JEE Advanced 2021.
